On Thursday, December 19, 2024, a last assembly was scheduled between representatives from all State Controlling Our bodies (SCBs) and Motorcycling Australia (MA) as a part of the Motorcycling Enchancment Initiative (MII) to hunt endorsement of a brand new structure for MA.
The mission has been led by the Australian Sports activities Fee (ASC) and included ongoing participation of representatives from every SCB.
Earlier this week, MA obtained further suggestions from an SCB which required overview and consideration from the ASC, MA Board and related authorized groups. These adjustments had been accepted on December 18, 2024 and recirculated to all SCB Boards for last overview forward of the December 19, 2024 vote.
On the December 19 assembly, the bulk declared their desire to not transfer to a vote resulting from inadequate time supplied to overview the adjustments.
MA understands the late adjustments meant that not all boards had been assured in endorsement with out time to totally overview. The ASC and MA will as soon as once more flow into the revised structure within the coming days for all SCBs to overview forward of the ultimate constitutional endorsement in January 2025.
